Contact having been made
They began their work in earnest.
Scoured the surrounding lands
These men - now lords

Enslaving the peasants,
And leaving rot in their wake.
Though smaller than its neighbors
Black Kingdom grew mightier
And under the Deathless Lords
Generations of slaves toiled
Born and die under the yoke.
While terrors haunted the countryside,

Meanwhile the Lords
They were constructing their greatest work of all:
A Celestial Engine capable of moving the heavens themselves
Remaking the constellations in the image of their slumbering gods.

Those Locked Outside will once more enter our world,
Cleansing it of life and reclaiming their thrones.

It was to this end that the Lords bent their will:
Bringing forth a paradise of fire, and of blood
